Centennial Announces New COO/Projects

Whitney Livingston Joins Centennial in a Newly Created Role on its Executive Leadership Team

DALLAS, Sept. 27, 2018 – Centennial, a national owner of major shopping, dining, entertainment, and mixed-use destinations, has appointed Whitney Livingston to its executive team as chief operating officer/projects.

“Whitney has a proven track record of leading teams through major redevelopment projects and creating a shared vision to transform these projects into thriving destinations,” said Steven Levin, Centennial’s founder and chief executive officer. “With hundreds of millions of dollars in the development pipeline at Centennial, Whitney’s talent and expertise will ensure we achieve corporate and property goals for each project. Her appointment will be instrumental in the development and continued growth of our company.”

In the newly created role, Livingston will work closely with the company’s executive team and project teams to develop and execute repositioning and redevelopment plans to create long-term value for the Centennial Collection of properties.

Livingston joins Centennial from Madison Marquette, a national investment management and services company, where she spent 13 years in various leadership roles, most recently as head of retail property services for more than 20 million square feet of real estate. Before joining Madison Marquette, Livingston was director of marketing at The Mills Corporation, where she led key redevelopment projects in the San Francisco Bay area.


Livingston is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). She also is co-editor of PLACES magazine, which reports on the latest trends, issues and opportunities facing the retail real estate industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business psychology from Wesleyan University.
